Access funding become exporter

presentation
What is incubation?
For the record, when you go to university you leave with an academic diploma, then you have to decide if you go into the business world, on your own or if you look for a job. When you go to a training center you come out with a training certificate and then you still have to ask yourself the question; Do you go into business on your own or do you apply for employment with this certificate? But when you enter into incubation you come out with a company, a business model, a business plan and financing to immediately start practicing your activity. Incubation is therefore a set of capacity building, a change of perspective, technical and financial strengthening in order to be able to start an agropastoral activity, particularly in the plantain value chain, and to manage the financing that we will receive but especially to be able to repay the credit received.
Become plantain exporters in Africa and around the world thanks to our incubation program!

Process
The stages of incubation
- Telephone interviews with our experts through the WhatsApp platform
- Visiting our experts to your different locations (sites) to produce a diagnostic report and collect data (click here to see a copy of a project leader’s diagnostic report)
- Development of a personalized support plan
- Remote capacity building (click here to see the digital brochure on Pre-incubation)
- Contact with international buyers (Nigeria, South Africa, DRC)
- Contact with the bank and microfinance partners
- Establishment of contracts with around twenty service providers
- Capacity building according to the educational ribbon (click here to view digital brochure on incubation)
- Validation of the business plan and business model by a commission
- Setting up credit
Duration of incubation
The incubation period depends on the academic level of the beneficiary. But generally the incubation course will be modeled in an interval of 3 weeks to two months depending on the academic level and the entrepreneurial level of the credit applicant. We will rely on the diagnostic report to have all these elements and details
Expected results after incubation
- A bankable business plan that will be financed, backed by a business model that will be the incubatee’s vision for the next five years.
- Signing of purchasing contracts with our partners in Nigeria, the DRC, Kenya and South Africa.
- Contract signings with our twenty service providers who will interact with the incubates.
In fact, in incubation we also find the staff and partners to set up your irrigation, to come and collect your plantain from the plantations. The FBPC has a list of 24 partners who, at the end of incubation, will sign agreements with all these incubates. The signing of the financing agreement with the bank will take place during incubation, as well as the specifications, the variety of plantain that the market wants….During incubation all this data is transmitted.

Contract farming
Contract farming is a concept that advocates:
- All financial transactions (sale of crops, purchase of inputs, payment of service providers, etc.) in the agricultural sector are done through a bank or microfinance
- Agricultural tasks are carried out by service provider companies which will share the risk and not in a spirit of cash work
- Monthly remuneration for the owner of the agricultural operation while waiting for the sale of the production to be remunerated
- The adequacy between the business model of the beneficiary of the credit and his business plan
